Wheels That Heal Car Club, a non-profit organization was founded in the fall of 2003 with the purpose of hosting car shows and events for the benefit of local charities and families in need.

From the start, we were chosen to host some of the area's biggest car events such as the Salisbury Festival and the Delmarva Chicken Festival.  While some of these shows are no longer being held, others have been added such as the Strawberry Festival in Pittsville, Wheels on the Waterfront in Crisfield and Blessing of the Combines in Snow Hill.  Each year we also present our signature event "Cruise for a Cause".  Cruise for a Cause had its start as a one-time event to help a three-year old Seaford, Delaware girl who was in need of a kidney transplant.  The event was soon to become an annual gathering of car enthusiasts staging at one location and "cruising" to another to raise money for families in need.  Over the years we have raised and donated many thousands of dollars for these families and causes.

For many years we have hosted the Salisbury Cruise-in at Shoppers World Shopping Center on the third Saturday of each month from April through September.  In recent years this event has become a benefit night for charities such as Operation We Care, Humane Society of Wicomico County, Alzheimer's Society, Halo, First Responders and others.
